FREE Seminar: Oil & Gold, the story told - Thursday, 6 August 2009 6.30pm-9.30pm
Dear Trader,

MF Global Singapore Pte. Limited (MF Global) and CME Group invite you into the mover and shaker world of the listed Metals and Energy markets.

In 2008 Crude Oil futures rallied more than 50% to its $147/barrel July high, before falling almost 80% into year end… and then rose 120% to June 2009. Over the same period of volatility, Gold futures have attracted much safe-haven interest with four attempts at the key $1000/ounce level.

Guest speaker from CME Group, George Ng, will conduct an in depth analysis on what drives the metals and energies markets, such as geopolitical themes, supply and demand factors and the global recession as well as what it means when either hedging or speculating using Gold futures.

George will also explain the differences between OTC Metals and Energy derivatives and exchange-traded Metals and Energies futures contracts.

CME Group recently acquired the COMEX and NYMEX exchanges, and now metals and energy futures such as WTI Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Gold and Silver are available from one central location, almost 24 hours a day.

The evening will be supplemented by a lively and informative session by MF Global applying methods of technical analysis and risk management to the recent moves.
